Updated Capacity building Trainings, September 2021

Somali International Rehabilitation Centre (SIRC) has been having long- term strategic plan for capacity building trainings focusing on peace, security, democratic governance, rule of law, human rights, gender equality, empowerment of marginalized groups, and development through development projects in Somaliland/Somalia.

 

2011-2012, capacity building trainings workshops on human rights and democratic governance, peace and security for Somali non-governmental civil society organizations invited from around Somaliland/Somalia regions have been implemented in Hargeisa and Garowe Somaliland/Somalia, funded by ForumCiv/Sida and Folke Bernadotte Academy and Implemented by SIRC local partner Baniadam Relief and Development Origination (BRDO) in Mogadishu in collaboration with Center for Dialogue, Civic Education and Human Rights (CDCH) in Hargeisa.

 

2015, capacity building for Somali civil society organizations focusing on conflict for resources has been Implemented by BRDO in Mogadishu, Somalia.

 

2015-2017 capacity building trainings workshops on human rights for marginalized groups specially focusing on rights of women and minority groups in decision making process to claim their rights in Somaliland have been implemented by Center for Dialogue, Civic Education and Human Rights (CDCH) based in Hargeisa and funded by ForumCiv/Sida.

 

2018-2020 capacity building training workshops on human rights and democratic governance in six regions of Somalia (Mogadishu, Baidoa, Kismayo, Beletweyn, Cadaado, Garowe has been implemented by SIRC local partner Baniadam Relief and Development Organization (BRDO) in Mogadishu Somalia, funded by ForumCiv/Sida

 

Ongoing 2019-2021 Capacity building workshops in strengthening peace and development in six regions of Somaliland( Hargeisa, Berbera, Borama, Burco, Eerigabo, Oog)  funded by ForumCiv/Sida has been implementing by SIRC local partner  Center for Dialogue, Civic Education and Human Rights (CDCH).
